36 Years Ago Nixon Resigned It's Time for Obama to Go Too
August 10, 2010 -- As Michelle Obama gallivants around in Spain, one thinks of a delusional monarch fritting away one's moment on stage, while her husband meanwhile grits his teeth, closes out reality, and pushes himself further onto the stakes of popular despisal on behalf of his British controllers.
Thirty-six years ago on August 9th, at noon, President Richard Nixon took the advice of leaders of his party and stepped down from office, citing lack of sufficient “support from the congress,” and hoping to avoid a full disclosure of his crimes. It is time for Obama to do the same, and for Democrats and Republicans alike to admit that his Presidency is a danger to the survival of the nation and literally, millions of it's citizens.
The President is a narcissist and delusional, with a mentality like that of Hitler in the bunker before the capture of Berlin, or of Emperor Nero before suicide. He will not let reality intrude into his self-centered psychotic beliefs. Although he recently admitted that the posters of him have changed, that now they have “a little mustache,” his actions have not changed. He continues to claim historic legislative victories, even as 3.18 million Americans have left the employment rolls since he took office, and our cities are literally falling apart.
Flint, Michigan, the 5th most dangerous city in the country, laid off 40 police officers in March, and will have to layoff 10 more soon, even as they seek to capture a serial killer still on the loose after killing 8 people. A similar situation is occurring in historically dangerous Oakland, CA, which just laid off 80 police officers. “Brownouts” are occurring in fire departments around the country, as they rotate which fire stations will be open on a given day. Camden, N.J., is shutting down its entire public library system, and auctioning off the books and computers.
This is unallowable. I am proposing a project to be implemented immediately, called North American Water and Power Alliance, or NAWAPA, which is shovel ready and can begin by October. We can immediately employ hundreds of thousands of engineers, skilled, and even unskilled labor through training programs around construction of this project, which transports water from the mountains to the Great American Desert. This is a project that will take us from thinking about the anguish of the current situation, to creating optimism about the future. It will be a precursor to Moon and Mars development, and a key link in a global system of infrastructure development, including a tunnel under the Bering Strait.
You can read more on this project on my website, and on the website of economist Lyndon LaRouche, www.larouchepac.com . We must not allow our nation to perish by inaction and wrong beliefs, but act on the understanding of science and universal physical principles to create a livable future.
